Green Everywhere

Sunday Cliff and I completed the screened in porch project. All that was left to do was to paint the screen door. It came in natural wood and after much debate we decided to paint it green, to match the trim on the house.

Here is the door in it's "natural state".
Here is the newly painted screen door.
This was a fun and quick project! The kind I like.
I have also noticed many, many small green things in and outside of my little Farmhouse. They look like this.
These small spheres are multiplying by the minute! And I think I know who is responsible for this.

The Golden Retriever is a very odd breed. They covet and worship the tennis ball. I am not kidding, the tennis ball is the Goldens higher power! Bella is absolutely obsessed with these things. I don't even know where they all come from, I never buy them, they just appear!
I was cleaning this morning and as I swept under the furniture these balls kept appearing. Under my dresser, under the sofa, under the armoire, well you get the idea - everywhere. She goes crazy for them, she likes to carry them around and then toss them up and chase them down. She gets into a real tizzy if her beloved ball goes under something and she can't get it. She paces and stares at me, pleading for help to retrieve her beloved ball. And you would not believe the sheer joy she gets from retrieving them outside. As soon I say the words,"Do you want to play ball.", the spinning begins. She spins in circles right out the door, all to chase her tennis balls. When she gets tired she rolls around on top of them in the grass. She even "steals" them on her walks. She'll eyeball one on a neighbors lawn and casually saunters over and picks it up in her mouth and brings it home. Thus the reason we have these things all over the house. I swear I am going to break my neck tripping over her babies. I want to clear these things out, but, she is always watching me. The funniest thing I have seen is Bella trying to figure out how to get the tennis balls off of the senior citizens walkers while doing pet therapy. She just can't understand why those balls are stuck. She sure entertains me this little lady. If you've lived with a Golden you know what I mean and if you haven't you should try it. I can lend you some tennis balls!
Oh - I made a new Fox Pillow for Spring.
